The practicality of such an application as Sticky Notes lies in the fact that it is much easier and easier to learn than the well-known OneNote. In addition, the software is pre-installed in the tenth generation operating system, which means that it can be used at all without any additional problems and, all the more, do not worry about the safety of your personal data in the OS.
Creating Desktop Notes in Windows 10
We access the Desktop by right-clicking on an empty area, a context menu appears, where it selects the item “Create”, and after, we select the item “Label”.
A window for creating a shortcut will appear and already there, you will be able to insert this path in the field “Specify the location of objects”: “C: \ Windows \ explorer.exe shell: AppsFolder \ Microsoft.MicrosoftStickyNotes_8wekyb3d8bbwe! App”, then just click on "Next" button.
Please note that in the new window, you will have the field again to register the name “Label Name” in it, in this case, we will use “Sticky Note”, then click on the “Finish” button.
We return to the Desktop, where it is possible to see that the Sticky Note Label has been created, which means that you need to click on it with the right mouse button and select the Properties item in the context menu.
In the new window, you should select “Change icon” and select the icon that you like the most (this is not necessary to do).
Also, here, you can select your own icon, but for this you need to click initially on “Change Icon”, and then, on “Browse” and there, choose your own version of icon.
Selecting the icon, it remains to click on the "Open" button, then click on the "Ok" button.
In essence, now, you have Notes on the Desktop in Windows 10 and with all this, you have to launch this application, there will always be a unique icon that cannot be confused with anything.
The practicality of such an application is that it will always and everywhere be located next to your main work area. In addition, notes can be customized for themselves and even, associate them with voice assistant Cortana.
