There are countless users who constantly "work" on improving the operating system and thereby make various changes to it. But from the moment when bright and dark themes appeared in Windows 10, which started to function 100%, much has changed. The process of replacing themes has become more lengthy and time consuming, albeit not a lot of time, but much more than it was before. In order to simplify and accelerate the process of changing a light theme on a dark theme and back, we decided to tell you about one terrific tweak of the registry. The essence of this tweezer is that the user no longer has to access the "Colors" personalization each time, and the user has the opportunity to simply use the right mouse click and select the topic in the context menu that he would like to apply at the moment.
To speed up the process of setting up your system, we created a so-called REG-file, which looks like an archive, in which there are two completely different files:
- AddMode.reg - allows you to activate fast switching between topics from the context menu.
- RemoveMode.reg - allows you to deactivate fast switching between topics from the context menu.
Thus, you can use the registry tweaker even faster, since you will not have to play the manual settings of the 5 registry keys, because we will use the above named REG files.
Simply, unarchive the archives, after that, right-click on the file "AddMode.reg" and select "Merge", everything else for you will make the operating system and the result, you can try it instantly.
In order to verify the correctness of the actions you performed, you simply right-click anywhere in the Desktop, a context menu appears that looks more updated with the new "Select subject" item, pointing the cursor at this point, that opened a couple of sub-paragraphs "Light" and "Dark", the names of these sub-paragraphs speak for themselves.
Thus, bright and dark themes in Windows 10 for you are even more accessible, but if for some reason this access is no longer needed, then similarly described actions with the file "AddMode.reg" you should do with the file "RemoveMode.reg", which will instantly clear the context menu and bring it to its original state.
