At the very beginning, I would like to note that we will use a third-party application for this system setup - "Lively Wallpaper", which you can download for free from the Microsoft Store. The most important thing here lies in the fact that the application is not large and does not have any viruses, since it is checked by Microsoft.
- Go to the Microsoft Store → find Lively Wallpaper and download this application → install the downloaded application.
- As soon as the application is installed, it should be launched immediately to familiarize yourself with its capabilities and honestly, you will be surprised at what it has to offer – initially, there is a small own wallpaper database in which there is even the possibility of installing "Parallax" - such wallpapers that will move behind your mouse cursor.
- Now, you need to decide - you will choose the wallpaper from the suggested application or you will use something of your own. If the "standard set" is not enough for you, then in this case, it is worth downloading your own pictures from your PC, you can also use just a link to the image. Note that the application is able to process even video clips and GIF format.
- The process of adding begins with the fact that at the top of the application, we click on "Add wallpaper" → as soon as the picture or video is added to the database, it will be possible to configure it by clicking on "..." and selecting "Customize" in the menu that appears → now, in the upper right corner, click on the icon gears that will move you to "General Settings" → experiment a little with the settings.
- Pay attention to the fact that when using two monitors, the image will be displayed only on the screen of the first monitor, in order to stretch the image, you need to click on "Active Wallpaper" → it remains only to choose the format in which animated wallpaper in Windows 11 will be displayed on the screen / screens → we save the changes made to the system.
